About the hotel complex
The new ACADEMIA Shuvaloff MAINSON project complements the collection of club mansions and boutique hotels of the ACADEMIA LAND hotel chain. The project provides for the restoration of a house built in 1854 in the historical center of St. Petersburg.

The mansion of Graf A. P. Shuvalov was built in the middle of the XIX century. The interiors in the mansion were made in the neoclassical style by the famous architect I. A. Fomin in 1913-1914. One of the walls is occupied by a deep four-column portico with two rows of artificial marble columns with white ionic capitals, with a vault and a heavy white entablature. The walls around the edges of this portico are decorated with niches of the same marble with white shells. On the opposite wall there is a small flat arch decorated with pilasters. An oval ceiling decorated with trapezoidal and diamond-shaped caissons has also been preserved. It is made in white, purple and bright blue colors.

Особняк графа А. П. Шувалова построен в середине XIX века. Интерьеры в особняке были выполнены в неоклассическом стиле известным архитектором И. А. Фоминым в 1913—1914 гг. Одну из стен занимает глубокий четырёх колонный портик с двумя рядами колонн из искусственного мрамора с белыми ионическими капителями, со сводом и тяжёлым белым антаблементом. Стены по краям этого портика украшены нишами из того же мрамора с белыми раковинами. На противоположной стене расположена небольшая плоская арка, оформленная пилястрами. Также сохранился овальный плафон, украшенный трапециевидными и ромбовидными кессонами. Он выполнен в белом, лиловом и ярко-синем цветах.
